Sort of blew it with lunch today.
Broke down and got this bad boy (2 egg, 2 slices of cheese, grilled onion on wheat deli sandwich) at about 11 a.m. after the smell of bacon and eggs came wafting over the partition into my workspace.
Which means the stomach wasn’t doing its thing until about a half-hour ago, at which point I faced with the predicament of having to eat yet another sandwich — I’m sandwich saturated at the moment.
In the end, I turned out my amazing tuna salad — I’m discovering that fresh dill makes all mayonnaise-dressed salads taste out of this world — onto the greens dressed with olive oil. In my desk drawer I have a petite bottle of Monini white truffle-flavored E.V.O.O. Makes so many things better than they should be.
